Professor & Director of Institute for Social Security Study, School of Public Administration, China Renmin University
Professor Li Zhen's work focusses on Social Security (Theory and Policy Analysis), Pension Fund Management, Comparison on International Pension System and Pension Reform. From 1982-1985 she did her Master of Economics followed by her Ph.D of Economics both at Wuhan University. From 2000-2005 she was Vice Dean of the Public Administration School of Wuhan University. Professor Li Zhen also has a Bachelor degree of Law from Huazhong Normal University. During this time she also did a scholarship at the University of Michigan.
Her professional career started at the Department of insurance and Social Security of Wuhan University. Since 2007 she works as Director for the Institute of social security at the School of Public Administration, Renmin University of China.
